Loyalty and Love may be in short supply today, but the Bible give us wonderful examples of these attributes in their purest form.
Firstly, Joshua was a loyal servant to Moses for many years. As a result of his loyalty, he rose up through the ranks and became a champion for God. When the Children of Israel entered the Promised Land, as Joshua led his army from one battle to another, he realised how much he needed God’s help and guidance every day.
Secondly, the story of Ruth is full of romance from the beginning to the end. Like all love stories, there is heartache and pain but the love of God permeates every aspect of it. After Ruth made an unlikely but important choice in life, God’s divine providence changed her life forever in a beautiful and inspirational way.
